Overcome Sin and Temptations
Overcoming Sin and Temptation is an extensive biblical study of holiness, sanctification, temptation, spiritual warfare, Christian character, perseverance, and final victory in Christ. Its central concern is the continuing struggle believers experience with sin after conversion and the biblical means by which they can grow in holiness through the power of the Holy Spirit.
The study begins from the conviction that the believer’s greatest battle is the battle against sin. Salvation removes sin’s condemnation and breaks its dominion, but believers must still contend with its continuing presence until glorification. The Christian life is therefore presented as a real spiritual conflict involving three principal enemies: the sinful nature or flesh, the fallen world system, and the devil. Nevertheless, the believer does not fight to obtain Christ’s victory but fights from the victory Christ has already secured through His death, resurrection, ascension, and continuing intercession.

This module introduces students to the essential discipline of Christian Apologetics — the art and science of defending and commending the Christian faith with clarity, conviction, and compassion. Designed for believers, pastors, missionaries, and ministry leaders across Australia, Oceania, and the Pacific, this module equips you to engage confidently with skeptics, seekers, and critics in today's complex cultural landscape.
Beginning with the foundations — what apologetics is, why it matters, and what Scripture says about defending the faith — students will explore the vital relationship between faith and reason, and discover how the Holy Spirit empowers and guides apologetic witness. From there, the module surveys the major schools of apologetic thought, including Classical, Historical, Experiential, and Presuppositional approaches, with focused attention on Practical, Rational, and Revelational Presuppositionalism, as well as the influential Princeton School of Apologetics.
Students will also develop hands-on skills in real-world apologetic conversations — learning how to find common ground, build respectful dialogue, and construct compelling Christian arguments that are both biblically grounded and intellectually robust.

The Problem of Evil: A Biblical and Theological Perspective
Few questions cut deeper than this: if God is all-good and all-powerful, why does evil exist? It is a challenge raised by philosophers in lecture halls and by grieving families in hospital corridors — and every pastor, believer, and apologist must be ready to meet it with both intellectual honesty and pastoral grace.
This module provides a thorough, biblically grounded engagement with the problem of evil and suffering. Students will examine the classical philosophical formulations — the logical and evidential problem of evil — before tracing Scripture's own response through the narratives of Job, the Psalms of lament, the cross of Christ, and the eschatological hope of Revelation. From there, the module develops a distinctly Pentecostal, Kingdom-oriented theodicy that refuses to separate doctrinal truth from lived faith.
By the end of this module, students will be equipped not only to defend the faith in the face of doubt, but to walk alongside those who are suffering with the compassion, conviction, and Spirit-led confidence that marks authentic Christian ministry.

This module equips believers and ministry leaders to understand, defend, and proclaim the resurrection with historical rigour, theological depth, and apostolic boldness. Christianity and Eastern Religions: A Comparative Study
A rigorous yet pastorally engaged comparative study of Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, and their major sub-traditions alongside the Christian faith. Students examine the core metaphysical claims, salvation frameworks, and spiritual practices of each tradition through a biblically grounded, Pentecostal-theological lens — equipping pastors, missionaries, and leaders across Australia and the Pacific to engage Eastern religious worldviews with confident, compassionate, and doctrinally precise apologetics.

Moral Apologetics
Equips believers, pastors, and ministry leaders to give a confident, biblically grounded account of why objective morality exists, where it comes from, and how to defend it against the most serious secular and postmodern challenges of our day. Working through divine moral ontology, natural law, human dignity, free will, and the failure of godless ethical systems, students emerge with both the theological framework and the practical apologetic skill to engage their communities with clarity, conviction, and compassion.

Life, Death & Eternity
This module confronts the most ultimate questions every human being faces — What happens when we die? Does the soul survive death? Is there a Hell, and can a loving God send people there? — and answers them with rigorous biblical exegesis, classical Pentecostal theology, and confident apologetic engagement. Students will be equipped not only to hold these convictions personally but to teach, defend, and pastor others through them with compassion and Kingdom clarity.

Christian Worldview & Apologetics
Every person lives by a worldview — a lens through which they interpret reality, meaning, morality, and destiny. This module equips believers, pastors, and missionaries to identify, understand, and critically evaluate the major worldviews competing for hearts and minds across Australia and the Pacific, demonstrating with confidence and clarity why the Christian worldview alone provides a coherent, liveable, and true account of all reality.

Moving through the foundational concepts of metaphysics and into the sharpest contemporary philosophical challenges to Christian theism, students will learn to wield rigorous philosophical tools not as ends in themselves, but as instruments of Kingdom apologetics — defending the faith with precision, clarity, and Spirit-filled conviction.

PRACTICAL APOLOGETICS: Answering Objections with Clarity, Compassion & Spirit-Led Conviction
This module moves apologetics from the classroom into the conversation — equipping believers, pastors, and missionaries to respond confidently, clearly, and compassionately when faith is challenged. Drawing on the theological foundations laid in earlier apologetics studies, each lesson trains students to answer the hardest objections raised by atheists, skeptics, and adherents of other faiths, and to do so with the Spirit-led gentleness and bold conviction that the Gospel demands.

Perhaps you have sensed God's call for years — maybe decades — but the path to formal training has always felt out of reach. Too far away. Too expensive. Too academic. Too disconnected from the Spirit-filled ministry world you actually live in. I understand that tension deeply. It is precisely why PSTM Australia exists.
We built this academy for the believer in rural Queensland who is already leading a congregation but has never had the chance to formally study theology. For the young woman in Fiji who burns with missionary vision but has no institution nearby to equip her. For the bivocational pastor in Western Sydney juggling a job, a family, and a calling — who needs credentials that honour his call without dismantling his life to get them. For the seasoned church leader in Papua New Guinea who wants his leadership grounded in something more than instinct and experience, however rich that experience is.
What we offer at PSTM Australia is not a watered-down correspondence course. It is a full theological curriculum spanning six schools — biblical, theological, discipleship, ministry, missions, and leadership — taught with the conviction that the Holy Spirit and sound doctrine are not in tension. They belong together. You will go deep into Scripture, from the Pentateuch to Revelation, from Old Testament Survey to Biblical Languages. You will work through systematic theology with care — Christology, Pneumatology, Soteriology, Eschatology — and you will do it as a Pentecostal, because Pentecostal theology has a distinctive, glorious heritage worth knowing and defending. You will not be asked to leave your experience of the Spirit at the door; you will be invited to understand it more fully.
I also want to speak honestly about what this training will cost you — not in dollars, but in commitment. This is real study. You will wrestle with hard texts, engage with challenging ideas in Contemporary Theology and Apologetics, and be stretched in areas like Conflict Resolution, Safeguarding, and Leading through Change and Crisis. Ministry is not managed from a distance, and neither is this training. But I promise you this: every course has been shaped with pastoral urgency. Nothing here is merely academic exercise. Everything points toward the field.
The Pacific is one of the most spiritually dynamic regions on earth, and it needs leaders who are biblically grounded, theologically articulate, cross-culturally equipped, and Spirit-filled. PSTM Australia is our answer to that need — and I believe it may be part of God's answer to yours. If you are ready to be equipped, to be sent, and to bear lasting fruit, we are ready to walk that journey with you. Come and study. Come and be built.
